The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of Oman and Al Buraimi University, is organizing the Arab Women Researchers Forum under the theme “Arab Women Researchers Towards the Future: Inspiring Experiences and Insightful Visions,” to be held from November 30 to December 1, 2025.
Designed as a pioneering intellectual platform, the forum brings together a distinguished group of Arab female leaders, academics, and researchers from various countries and sectors to exchange experiences, discuss the challenges facing the Arab world, and present innovative and knowledge-based solutions to address them.
Each participating researcher will be invited to present a talk on a major challenge facing the Arab region in her field of expertise, proposing practical and forward-looking solutions, in addition to joining interactive discussion sessions tackling current scientific, social, and developmental issues.
The forum aims to highlight the pivotal role of Arab women in shaping a brighter, fairer, and more sustainable future, and it is expected to generate valuable recommendations and promising ideas that will reinforce women’s leadership in research, innovation, and knowledge-based policymaking.
Through this initiative, ALECSO reaffirms its commitment to empowering Arab women researchers and fostering a collaborative scientific community capable of driving meaningful transformation across the Arab world.
