Mohammed First University in Oujda will host the First International Conference on Digital Sociology on March 30–31, 2026, under the theme: “University and Society: Towards a Social Construction of a Sustainable and Human-Centered Digital World.”
This scientific event is organized by the Research Center for Social and Human Studies, in coordination with the University Center for Migration Studies, and supported by the global academic publisher Springer. It will feature the participation of researchers and experts from Morocco and abroad.
Tracking Social, Cultural, and Psychological Transformations in the Digital Age
The conference aims to explore the profound transformations brought about by the digital era at the social, cultural, and psychological levels, in light of the rapid technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, algorithms, and virtual environments.
Conference proceedings will raise essential questions concerning the reshaping of identity and social relationships, shifts in cultural interaction patterns, and the psychological changes individuals experience in an increasingly digitalized world.
