The Regional Association for Support to Agricultural Development, in partnership with the Chamber of Agriculture of the Souss-Massa region and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, is organizing the International Fair Local Products, 2022 version, under the slogan “Human capital is a real lever for the development of local products in the Souss-Massa region”, in Agadir from August 31 to September 5, 2022.
In a statement on the association, he mentioned that the organizers seek to upload the Green Generation Strategy 2020-2030 to support local products to create region-wide economic dynamism given the growing demand for channels. of diversified marketing, after the Corona pandemic, and after the successes of previous editions of the National Exhibition of Local Products.
This branded economic event in the Souss-Massa region aims, on the one hand, to support the spatial approach of the region and to create a space for professional exchange between the various actors, and on the other hand, to consolidate the cooperation and partnership between the different actors and economic actors organizations interested in developing the sector of local products while encouraging youth entrepreneurship and supporting the social protection of farmers, in addition to evaluating the efforts made to promote local products and contribute to strengthening the technical and scientific capacities of participants by organizing scientific seminars, tasting workshops, training and applied workshops in order to promote the targeted production sectors: argan tree, honey, dates, almonds, saffron, henna, plants medicinal and aromatic, adults, snail, aloe vera, rose, couscous and oil olives…etc.
The exhibition will be organized on an area of 4,500 square meters and will host 230 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 80,000 visitors. As guests of honor, the exhibition will welcome the Republics of Senegal, Gabon and Côte d’Ivoire .
Along with the exhibition activities, artistic and folk paintings will be displayed for the benefit of visitors to the exhibition, and cultural and recreational activities will be organized for the benefit of children.
To shed light on the activities of this exhibition, the organizers will hold a press conference on August 29, 2022 at the headquarters of the Regional Chamber of Agriculture at 5:30 p.m. in the presence of representatives of the local, regional and national media.
