Today, Saturday, Aziz Akhannouch, head of the collective council of the city of Agadir, paid an inspection visit to track the progress of the work of a number of projects and workshops aimed at revitalizing the sporting and recreational life in the city, in the presence of Ahmed Hajji, the wali of the Souss Massa region, worker of the Agadir employment agency, and a number of deputies of the chairman of the collective council.
Aziz Akhannouch was briefed on the details of the advanced level that the works of the near stadium in Anza neighborhood have reached, which is expected to be opened to the public at the end of next week, and will include several spaces for playing football and basketball, as well as skating yards and playgrounds for children’s play.
In this context, the Council intends to open two proximity playgrounds every week for 4 months, starting next November. These projects aim to revitalize sports life, especially among the city’s youth, and provide them with recreational spaces close to them.
The head of the Agadir city council, his deputies, and the governor of the region were also briefed on the details of the project to renovate and rehabilitate a public park in the Dakhla district, which extends over an area of about 5 hectares, and includes an open-air public theater, a plant, as well as green spaces for the benefit of the population.
