The Faculty of Arts and Human sciences at Ibn Zohr University in Agadir ,hosted the 4th edition of the scientific meeting “Week of Anthropology” from March 25th to 29th.
The event, held this year under the theme “from indigeneity to autochthony”, is organized by the Laboratory of studies and research (LLCI) language, Literature ,Culture and Identity in partnership with the the institute of high social sciences studies in Paris, “Jacques Berque” Center in Rabat, the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM) and the International Working Group for Indigenous Peoples.
The program of this edition, included the participation of Moroccan and foreign experts and academics, includes several conferences around themes such as “the general situation of indigenous peoples in the world”, “Indigenous knowledge: between denial and recognition” and “autochthony in the discourse of Amazigh associations: origin and consequences”.
Workshops are also on the Academic menu of this meeting; focusing on the themes of “ethnographic study” and “anthropology of writing” …
The event was attended by a large number of students , researchers and interested in the field from different cities In Morocco to benefit from the workshops and answer all their questions and difficulties they face in research and writing on their research topics .
