The city has broken records&#8230;after the night before yesterday, Thursday and Friday (August 11-12, 2022), it recorded almost half a million overnight stays, according to our informed sources, noting that this  colossal number of visitors has not been recorded in the area for years, despite the ongoing preparations in the city, and the cable car project which was inaugurated in recent times has helped to attract a number of  visitors in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"297\" height=\"172\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moroccomedianews.ma\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/20220813_195111.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1586\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>  These positive results confirm the good positioning of the destination of Morocco in general and of the city of Agadir in particular, after the city recorded during this last period the influx of a large number of tourists to hotel establishments.  , including foreigners and Moroccans from the region&#8217;s diaspora and tourists from several cities in the Kingdom.  Domestic tourism, which is one of the priorities for the renewal of the sector, also represents approximately 30% of overnight stays, ie the second largest market after France.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the city of Agadir is considered as a tourist center of the Kingdom, exceptional in terms of tourist flows, number of arrivals, overnight stays, and occupancy rate. All the beaches of the city have experienced a good recovery  tourism, after the influx of a large number of tourists, as it is the only city that enjoys a temperate climate in the Kingdom, especially in the summer period.
